Have the developers considered adding the Fopnu protocol into Tixati? Tixati already has a search function for joined chat channels. If that was replaced with the Fopnu protocol, it'd allow a rapid increase in its use. It's just an idea, I don't know how difficult the coding,however, I think it'd be worth it, at-least in my humble opinion.

This is definitely under consideration, and I would probably have already done it if it was easy, but the two models of sharing do not fit together well.  The library in Fopnu is so much different than the Shared part of Tixati, which is just links and text.  And there other major differences like the way uploads are organized.  So a very very careful design would be needed.

I will repeat the same thing that I said in Fopnu forum few minutes ago, it is better that Fopnu is merged into Tixati rather than merging Tixati into Fopnu.

This is a good opportunity to implement Meta-search and Swarm Search together with Fopnu search bar, and show all results in the same list.

It has not been abandoned and NO it does not appear in Tixati v3.44. I think it will come in next 3.45 version as we can see even Fopnu's next release is delayed a bit.

If a "dev" answers that question then the answer might as well become the law of the land because he/she will be held to the answer, but if the very same "dev" answers as a "guest" then nobody tries to hold him/her to that answer.

I think y'all should stop expecting this. As previously mentioned the first issue is difficulty in managing two separate systems and secondly, the dev has not released Fopnu 1.69 even after a year so most likely he is not at all working on it.
