Hi!
Using v2.76 (portable) I noticed this:
- start Tixati
- click in the menu "Check For Updates"
What happens:
- a dialog appears , saying "checking for updates..."
- the dialog disappears
- after 2-5 seconds a new dialog appears, saying there is a new update...
Why does the dialog disappear? It looks like it crashed or malfunctioned.
Now I tried with 2.77 and the update dialog stays there, then show "this is the newest version".
Was this fixed? I don't see it mentioned in the news page.

Happened again.
v2.77 portable mode
opened via magnet link (this might be relevant)
After start, I click "Check for Updates", the dialog appears, saying "Sending request", then disappears.
After that the torrent download confirmation dialog appears (for the magnet link that was used to start Tixati).
I confirm that and then after a few seconds the update dialog appears , saying a newer version is available (that is 2.78)
