Could not listen for incoming connections (error 13)

by Guest on 2020/10/19 06:45:30 AM
Recently I started to run into this issue on Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon.

Could not listen for incoming connections
Address: udp: {address}:{port}
Permission denied (13)

I have nearly 400 torrents going in the client, so I'm wondering if it's related to that or is just a bug.  When I click "retry", I am able to upload for a bit and then the error pops up again, which then cuts off the upload process.  The amount of torrents going at once doesn't seem to affect the issue, and running Tixati as root also seems to give the same results.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am also seeing this. I posted about it in https://forum.tixati.com/support/6808  which I think is about the same thing.

It appears that disabling UDP trackers caused the error to disappear, I wonder if it's possible if I have too many UDP trackers in my individual tracker options (179)

to everyone having this problem:
if you go back to version 2.75 does this still happen?

I started having this issue on 2.73, which is when I updated to 2.76.  I haven't tested 2.75.
