Hello team TIXATI,
Can you add anonymous mode feature in tixati?
As we have seen recently there are operators who leek/dispose user's information. If there is an anonymous mode feature or any other feature that hide/alters the user's original information then users will be more secure during sharing the files in p2p network.

In order to download or upload you have to connect to peers. I think what you're looking for is a VPN or proxy. I recommend using a VPN. I prefer a VPN but if you are going to use a proxy test it with Tixati for IP leak. Test both for IP leak. For a VPN, you can bind Tixati to the VPN interface which prevents traffic from leaking if the VPN disconnects.
The setting for binding Tixati to a VPN is here:
Settings -> Network -> Connections -> Local IPv4/IPv6 address or interface.

- Your local IPv4 and IPv6 addresses won't be sent as query string parameters to private trackers(requires private torrent). So a tracker will not get your IPv6 address from IPv4 announce and vice versa. The tracker will only see the IP address that you are announcing from.
I think it already works that way in Tixati.
- The peer-ID will no longer include the client's fingerprint & The client version will not be sent to peers in the extension handshake. & A generic user-agent will be used for trackers (except for private torrents).
Transfers > Trackers > Client profiles
Peer-IDs (the ending characters tat come after TIX0333-) are random for each torrent by default
There is also an option to set Client ID in each torrent's options.
- The user-agent will be reset to an empty string
Last time I checked Tixati didn't send user-agent info (HTTP headers) to trackers.
- The announced port used to be 0 but changed to 1 for versions using libtorrent 1.2.5 or later, since some trackers would fail the announce for 0.
Network > Incoming ports > Random port interval
or if you don't want incoming connections (basically the same as setting announced port to 1)
Network > Connections > Incoming Peer Ponnection Protocol > none
- Disables Local Peer Discovery
Transfer > Peers > disable Local Peer Discovery
- Disables DHT
Figure it out. :)
- Disables UPnP & NAT-PMP
Network > Incoming ports > Use UPNP / NAT-PMP to forward port on router > uncheck
This feature doesn't currently work anyway. (at least for me it works for every app, but not Tixati, and Tixati home page log confirms the failure)
- Only talks to http(s) trackers via (any) proxy & Only talks to udp trackers via SOCKS5/I2P proxy
Network > Proxy > detailed peer and tracker configurations available
