Pop up to announce: download is finished?

by Bruce on 2020/02/27 07:52:24 PM
If I can critizise anything about Tixati, it will be this:

It is a bit of a nuisance having to keep checking Tixati, wether an urgent download is finished or not. I have searched settings, but could not find anything that will activate a pop-up that tells me "Download so-and-so is finished!"

Is there such I pop up and I just cannot find it?

Thanks, guys, otherwise: great software!

Click on settings -> user interface -> behaviour -> notifications -> configure

I have, however, noticed that my new Windows 10 laptop's notifications feature has taken over this

GREAT !!!

Thank you, exactly what I was asking.
My enthusiasm is the result of long suffering in forums, where one usually gets all kind of question answered, but not the one that was actually asked.

Sorry about your Win10. I would rather learn Linux before leaving 7 and going to 10...

That's OK. I still get a pop up - just not from Tixati

A bug or a feature, but the way I have completed files sent to directories, it
produces a pop up.  And it avoids the 99% problem I see so many of my users get.

I can't give it exactly since I don't know what started it up.

The box is checked at Transfers > Location >  On completion move to a location.
That might be it.  I just use the same downloaded file location as the content files.
