Windows 7 crashing on startup (fixed) 🔒

Tixati 2.66-1 crashes at start. All I can say, that I installed KB4539601 and rebooted.

I don't know how to apply a crash log, because there is none.

The program crashes as soon as it started.

Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Tixati 2.66-1 Portable.

if you run v2.65 or v2.64 does the program still crash?

if so, be sure to send in / post links to the crash report, or any other info that could be useful.

I can't find download links to previous builds. Anyway, the problem appeared just right now, not a month ago.

I think, the developers should make debug build/mode to alleviate sending bug reports. Perhaps, a guide on how to send a bug report would be useful as well.

All the previous versions you gave links to crash.

I think, it is connected to the update I installed. Possibly, W7 resurrected from a crash and fixed some settings.

same OS and same Tixati version (installed, not portable) > same issue
downgraded to 2.61 > same issue
uninstalled KB4539601 and everything is fixed

KB4539601 seems to be the problem. I removed that update and things worked for me. Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Tixati 2.66 x64. I tried the 32 bit tixati after the 64 bit didn't work but coming here to read that KB4539601 may be part of the problem helped.

Downgraded to tixati-2.59-1.portable and it worked on W7 x64.

I just downloaded and installed the new version (2.67) and it still won't work. I'm running Win 10, and I get the same error: Error Code 3 on attempting to load autothrottle2.dat .

This has been fixed with the release of tixati v2.67.

If anyone is still having this problem please start a new thread.
