I was wondering if there is a way to disable the black startup screen logo showing the version.

Nope

The logo doesn't appear when launching Tixati if you append -starthiddenintray to the shortcut,
e.g. "C:\Program Files\tixati\tixati.exe" -starthiddenintray. It also works with -startminimized.

Note that you can make Tixati start hidden/minimized when adding a torrent/magnet link by changing the launch shortcut at the "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\magnet\shell\open\command" registry key. In my case: "C:\Program Files\tixati\tixati.exe" -starthiddenintray "%1"
