Figured out how to fix the problem of making tixati my default downloader. Thanks for having a place to at least ask the question.

there is another place to ask also, a tixati channel dedicated to users helping users.  You will not get an immediate reply, but if you park and wait, some experienced users will often offer salient information

To join, click the  page, then on the left column  then [+ Add] then  and paste the following:

or from the same menu.. click  and select from the list to join. It may take several minutes to connect. patience is the key.
