Two newbie questions.
I am downloading a multigig file and my swarm average download speed is around 1MB/s while my local average download speed is around 60kB/s.
1 What is the swarm and what does the indicated speed represent?
2 Is this ratio of swarm to local to be expected or does this indicate a problem with the connection or my settings? If the latter, can I make changes while downloading or do I have to start again?

(A supplementary question: when it says Downloading 8 (11), what is the 11?)

I believe it is maximum 11 in the swarm, but you are connected to 8
