Why does Tixati run as a background process after the program has been shutdown?  I found this out when I attempted to update to the latest version. Shut down Tixati but could not install. Had to go to task manager and shut down the process.

Not complaining - just asking  :-)

Depends on your settings

Settings > User Interface > Behavior

Main window close button action

   When the main window close button is pressed, Tixati can either exit completely, or minimize to a single icon in the system tray area. The user can select their preferred action with this setting.
