I made a couple replies to posts on channel forums.

The "new post" flag appears. but there are no new posts. I look, the flag goes away, then minutes later it returns.


I noticed another quirk i think is not related to the former.
While reading a thread that had the original post "Removed" it reappeared.  then it went away again. then it reappeared.

this False Flag remains a problem in v2.59

Forum post flag flashes on the channel list, I look.. and the flag disappears.

an hour later, I get excited seeing the flag flashing again, only to find it is a false flag event. There are no new posts to the channel forum since I last looked.
