IU have an RSS feed that is being  correctly read and filtered (the "published items tab is populated with the correct items) but the torrents have not started (and will not start if you select "download"). Instead the status of the published item is "Bad meta-info and the event log reads

[10:13:49 AM]  getting meta-info > somefile
[10:13:49 AM]  downloading meta file from someaddress
[10:13:50 AM]  bad meta-info > somefile

Any ideas?

Do the downloads work if you get the magnet link from the website? Or does selecting "Open Web Link" bring you to the right site? Also do all other downloads work? If they all work then I don't see why the RSS feed won't work unless it's a private tracker and you didn't put in any credentials for it. Did you change any other settings when you activated the RSS interface?

Its because RSS doesn't work.  There are many post regarding RSS going back more than a year but no one address it.

I wish I had some way of helping you but it too have the same issue..

running into this problem. I've got a couple RSS URLs added (one is currently fighting a DDoS attack and feed isn't loading), but the "Open Web Link" does work. The status listed is "No meta-info found" in the published items list.

send the link to support at tixati dot com and they will test it and perhaps fix it if the problem is really tixati's fault

you replied to a very old post, the RSS has been working very well the past few versions

sometimes an RSS feed will require custom cookie strings in the URL, like other torrent clients, if there is authentication needed (like a private torrent site)

I have a working rss gives an error (no meta-info found )
