Seeing your and other people's IP internet addresses in Tixati is normal, it is not possible not to see them because this is how the engineers who built the Internet made it work: to connect to a computer you need the computer's IP address, and without the IP you can't connect.

To be anonymous and not be tracked you need to: 1) hide your IP internet address, and 2) encrypt your data transfers.

Hiding your IP internet address is more important than encrypting your data transfers.

How to be anonymous and not be tracked:

1) "Hiding" your IP means using someone else's IP address in a way that your own original/real IP cannot be recovered, and there are services that do that, they are called VPN services. So, to hide your IP internet address you need to use a VPN service. You usually pay some money for it. There are reviews for various VPN services. You should choose a VPN service which allows Bittorrent P2P useage and does not keep logs ("no logging" policy). There are some free VPN services but they are very slow or keep logs, or they don't allow P2P useage. Having a VPN is very important, better pay and be safe rather than risk having problems. After you get a VPN service and install/start the VPN software (usually provided by the VPN service company) it will make all your Internet connections (including Tixati's connections) go through the VPN, thus hiding your IP and making you anonymous.

2) Data transfer encryption: Tixati supports encryption if you connect to seeders (people who give/upload torrents) who also support encryption. Tixati allows you to choose if you want to allow non-encrypted data transfers, there is an option in the settings. If you disable non-encrypted transfers you may be unable to download some torrents if the seeders (the persons giving/uploading the torrent) uses another software which does not support encryption. Because of this, it may be better to allow non-encrypted transfers so that you can download all torrents without problems (but just make sure you hide your IP with a VPN).
