Problems with downloading Ubuntu 17.10.1 Desktop (64-bit)

by Guest on 2018/01/22 06:57:17 AM
Hello! I'm using Tixati 2.56 64-bit on windows 7 for about 2 years. Yesterday I downloaded torrent file from the official Ubuntu site. When the download was completed by 80% it stopped and my system crashed in some time and restarted. At the second attempt there was the similar situation. The third time I did not try to. There were no problems with utorrent when downloading the same file.

Just download 64bit DEB package from this site and double click it ... no problem here. I use Ubuntu 17.10.1 too and no problem here with installation.

You can also install DEB using command line utility DGEBI

> sudo apt install gdebi
> sudo gdebi ~/Downloads/tixati_2.56-1_amd64.deb
