It would be useful to automatically give higher priority in pieces that are low on availability .

From what I know, Tixati is done this way for downloading. For uploading you can force rarest pieces first using super seeding. It shouldn't be needed though, because other clients should prioritize rarest pieces first. In reality however some clients download sequentially by default.

I always use superseed ;)

Maybe other apps don't utilize correctly the upload piece priority.
However it would be nice seeing the availability of each file (when there are multiple per torrent) and at least set manually the priority of each file :)
