With bitcoin fees as high as 7 dollars per transaction, it is getting hard to donate small amounts. Could you please support Bitcoin Cash, which has much lower transaction fees? There are many enthusiasts in the Bitcoin Cash community that would like to donate and you could probably get some free publicity in /r/btc.
