I could not find a way to fetch metadata of magnet links without starting the download and waiting for metadata to fetch and stop them. I think there should be a feature to enable auto metadata fetching so I can see the title(instead of magnet link semi-gibberish) and contents of the torrent before downloading.

Yes, there is a way.

My tranfers, torrent or magnet, don´t auto-start, but brings the information before pause or start.

Go to SETTINGS -> TRANSFERS -> GENERAL -> "Start new transfers"(check)

Go to SETTINGS -> USER INTERFACE -> BEHAVIOR -> TRANSFER LOADING PRIORITY/LOCATION PROMPT(Configure...) -> (check ALL) / "Prompt timeout"(Never)

A prompt window must be shown when you click a torrent or magnet. Then, you should select wanted files and press "STOP".

Your tranfers will be added as "paused/stoped".

Plus: if you do not want to bring the Tixati window to front when clicking a torrent/magnet link:
Go to SETTINGS -> USER INTERFACE -> BEHAVIOR -> "Activate main window when new transfers are loaded"(uncheck)
