I exit Tixati and it doesn't close. I can't even end it from taskmanager. I wait hours and still it remains in taskmanager and starting a new instance won't work. What information is needed to help solve this problem? Do I need to send a memory dump?

The first step I would take is to check one of the basic settings. Click settings then under heading "user interface" click behavior, follow down that list about to the middle. You should find "Main window close button action" set it to "completely exit program".

I suspect this may not help, because task manager should close it no matter what. Unless your problem is in the operating system having to do with permissions, but none the less it is the smart first step in diagnostics. A couple of other things that might help is if you post your build of computer , operating system, do you log in as a admin, etc.
Test this first before I have to write an essay about all the choices.
