feature request: select/deselect all files

by Guest on 2013/08/09 09:38:34 AM
With utorrent, you right click into a menu to select/deselect all files that you want or don't want to download. With tixati, it is annoying that I have to click each checkbox one after another to deselect files I don't want to download.

thanks

There are buttons under the Load Transfer file list, "select all", "off" and "normal" could be useful. You can also select multiple files holding shift or ctrl key, the same way as in OS.

Press ctrl+A

This is already in.
Select the files (with Shift and Ctrl), right-click one of the selected files, hover over "Priority", select "Off", or the priority level you want if you want to turn the file download on.

You can select all files with Ctrl+A and then deselect specific ones while holding Ctrl, like in almost any Windows program.

I don't think the "Off" button should be moved out of the Priority Sub-menu, since you have to go in there to turn a file on again, even when it might seem unintuitive at first.

sorry Pete. late reply. You are assuming a "Load Transfer file list" exists! i don't have it because i have set the torrents to auto-load from a folder. That's why I request this feature inside the "File" tab. Does it make sense?

You should understand it. Just check out utorrent. You can "select all", "unselect all", in "transfer windows", and in "file tab" for utorrent

and also. Ctrl+A, only select files. I need to uncheck/check all the "download checkboxes".

I like this feature too, how about update tracker on the same time? "Select all/Update tracker".

It is very difficult to do one by one announce tracker on my 700 files. Announce all is the best way. I asked this request, I hope they'll make it possible.

Select all files by Ctrl+A, right-click on them, in context menu go to Priority > Off.

You are right, it would be nice if the Download check box worked the same way (one click to turn on/off all selected files).

thank you! that works perfectly! just wasn't obvious to discover.

I know this is old and really not anything more than a request. But in the current version you can select all of a FOLDER with the download column. Be sure you have a large enough column, settings may change and it may be partially hidden, mouseover to the left of Name, if you have a vertical scrollbar pull-out the Download column. Should see Check box for all folders and files.
The download column is a toggle. Would be nice to have Files under Layout -> Select Columns so you can reset them.

Hello,
my buttons are lost (select all, off, on, etc.) is there a way to bring them back?

Please add a screenshot of the problem.

I think those buttons were never on the Files tab. Maybe you mean the Load Transfer windows by mistake? See here: https://ibb.co/c2Y5CgM

To turn on or off all on the files tab do this
Select all files by Ctrl+A, right-click on them, in context menu go to Priority > Off.
