Tixati v2.55 is choking all peers by default, why?

Why do I have to _manually_ Force Unchoke all peers to make Tixati utilize my X Mbit/s upload? Pretty stupid feature to have in a torrent program?? From struggling to give 1 MB/s upload on a torrent to 10 MB/s after forcing the program to unchoke peers.

what OS? are you talking seeding or downloading?

when downloading, peers are choked at the very beginning, but they always get un-choked, even if it's for charity.
