Downloading unwanted files

when i select a file to download there are usually subfiles i don't want, so i uncheck them and click start on tixati. now hen the download is done i find tixati download the part i left checked and the parts i left unchecked. any idea why this behaviour is happening?

win 10 pro 64 bit 15063.502 is what i'm running

if the pieces are small they might overlap with a piece from the file. like those txt files that sometimes come with files. the txt file is too small to take up a whole piece by itself so it overlaps other file pieces.

i've seen it with everything from a txt file to a group of mp3's that i didn't want to a x86 3+ gig iso i unchecked cause i just wanted the 64 bit iso in the package. so no it's not limited to small files. i know it didn't use to do this.

look in settings-transfers-files

are you using the 'auto-select' feature?

for the larger files you have turned off, is it downloading the whole file or just the beginning and/or end?

i just checked that setting and it's not checked, as for the larger files it's the entire file not just part of it.

if you have a torrent that will always do this, send it to the devs with a small explanation of whats going on. support at tixati dot com
