Tixati 2.53 Move on Completion is not working all the time

by Jordonimus on 2017/08/05 04:43:21 AM
Hello all,

I'm new to this forum and have done a bit of searching but nothing is helping so I thought I would share my situation and see if anyone has solved this issue.

Torrents that complete in tixati 2.53 don't always move on completion to the new folder. I can't see any patterns to figure out which ones move and which ones get stuck. The log looks something like this for a specific torrent that didn't move.

[12:55:39 AM]  file complete > *******.mkv
[12:55:39 AM]  complete
[12:55:39 AM]  moving file from D:\zNew Downloads\*******.mkv to D:\zNew Downloads\*******.mkv
[12:55:40 AM]  tracker announcing [completed] > tracker1
[12:55:40 AM]  tracker announcing [completed] > tracker2
[12:55:43 AM]  tracker responded OK, returned=3  seeds=3  peers=0  interval=28:31 > tracker1
[12:55:43 AM]  stopping
[12:55:43 AM]  tracker stopped > tracker3
[12:55:43 AM]  tracker stopped > tracker4
[12:55:43 AM]  tracker stopped > tracker5
[12:55:43 AM]  tracker stopped > tracker6
[12:55:43 AM]  cancelled file move from D:\zNew Downloads\*******.mkv to D:\zNew Downloads\*******.mkv

you can see that its trying to move the file from a folder to the same folder which is strange as the initial download is stored somewhere else...

a move on completed torrent that did make the move looks like this, you can see there is no cancelled file move otherwise they look the same... so what the heck is going on here? Any advice appreciated.

what OS?

in the settings-transfers-files:

-are you using the 'incomplete file name format' option?
-are you using 'auto-select'?
--if so, are the files that fail using 'auto-select'?

-are you using 'move individual files immediately upon completion'?
-are you using 'directly move file/folder if possible when changing location'?

does it usually happen with a single file torrent, or with a file within a folder?
