If it is a Intel Chromebook you can get it to work through Wine. i.e., running a windows version through wine on an Intel Chromebook.

You can use the Chrome Remote desktop to get it to work. However, you need an active Windows Os to run it!

You can use the Exagear emulator to run Windows Application on chromebook.

Also check out some of the SNES and GBA emulators. They may not be popular but they can get the work done.
