After updating to 1.96 I now get the message in "progress" (need meta info)  and in the "status" (Error opening metafile: The system can't find the file specified)......This occurs with every torrent site including files that I have already downloaded previously just to verify...any ideas ????

I am seeing this too, but not seeing any resolution.  I just installed Tixati today.  Magnet links work fine, but downloaded torrent files do not.

Found out what was causing it for me - uTorrent was still running in the background and messing up the torrent filename.
