Delete all-non downloaded files from a torrent

by Guest on 2017/02/03 08:28:29 PM
Hello Tixati developers and users

First I want to thank you for this amazing software, I use it everyday and recommend it to everyone I know (except my worse enemies).

What is the feature I'm suggesting ?
Well, I usually download torrents that have more files than I need. So I use to select only the files/folders that I want to download. However, after the download finishes, there's always incomplete files that were not-downloaded but created regardless. I know this is the way torrent works so it's pretty much unavoidable to download unwanted chunks and files from a single torrent.

HOWEVER, it would be extremely simple to implement a post-download function to simply clean all the files that were not ticked to download. Currently I have to do it manually which takes some minutes of checking the folders and files one by one. If this feature already exists please tell me, I haven't been able to find it.

Thanks in advance for taking the time to read my post. Tixati is Love, Tixati is Life.

you can go to transfer details, sort files by priority, easily shift select all off priority files, right click and delete

in my case allocated off files are green, deleted are grey, probably depends on color settings

also if you use incomplete file name format, you could use file completions shell command to delete incomplete files based on it

Yeah the problem is when there's multiple folders within folders, then the files get arranged by hierarchy always before being arranged by priority so one has to go through every folder deleting the "off" files.
