How to block specific clients? like "-XL0012-f?m1____" or some named "7.10.xxx".

It is not possible right now (v2.51). I would also like to block the Xunlei/Thunder client and other clients which use strict sequential downloading as a default setting.

that would be bollocks (lol) since there are torrents able to finish only to chinese xunlei clients or variants

but there are situations where this would be meritable tho, i remember the scaneye client for example, or many 'client tests' for observation that wont go get a single piece but do a cache of a peer list more like

I use IP Filter too blocking a few countries where the Xunlei/Thunder client is popular. This blocks also other clients though, I'd like to seed to those.

Of course you are assuming that those that use that client are from one specific country.  If your willing try blocking all of a specific country.

And if I'm reading my block ip list, its at 90,791,314,785,404 as of today (26 December)... lots of ip's... to block out...

1. Detection of the client name contains xl.
2. Automatically disconnected.
Or, automatically add it to ipfilter.

i believe to deal with rogue will use the tricks of the rogue. maybe you can block xl download only.

I would like it more if it was made as an automated Ignore. I have seen some weird "unknown" clients.

the countries i have banned i.e. are germany because filesharing is illegal there and ive seen tracking activity and russia because of the ddos and same as germany
