HELP!!! Is there a "RESET" button anywhere??

Howdy!!
I have been having a LOT of "Timed out connecting" issues JUST lately. I have not had this kind of problem before. At least, not to THIS extent...
Is there ANY way to "reset" Tixati back to "default" configuration?? JUST in case I inadvertently hiccupped with a setting somewhere?
Pretty easy-peasy (I hope) to simply click a "reset to default configuration" button. : D
My question is this; is there one and where would I find it, if there is indeed such a button? I have looked but cannot find one ANYwhere. Am I overlooking it by chance?
Thank you, in advance, for ANY help and direction that you can give. : ) -EB

Would that be a resolute "yes" or "no" then?? All RE's are kinda vague. lol.
Seriously... IF there is ANYone who has an answer, I would appreciate it.
Thank you, once again, in advance. : ) -EB

there was a problem with connections on 2.49. you should upgrade to the new 2.51 and see if that fixes your problem.

Really???
Okay, yeah... THAT is about when I noticed the inordinate amount of "timed out" and drops... I mean, it was HEINOUS.
Hopefully this will take care of that. Eh!?! Will let you know.
Thanks for that. I THOUGHT that I WAS "updated" but obviously, I was wrong. X P
Anyway, the ? still stands, IS there a "reset" button that flip-flops everything back to "default" settings??
...STILL looking. X P : )
Thanks again. : ) -EB

Well, did the update thing and I am STILL having NASTY connection problems...
Any other suggestions would be appreciated. I mean, am I the ONLY one with this "issue?"
It also matters NOT, which tracker that I am using.
I would have at LEAST a 70% + connection rate, if not higher. I NEVER had problems with connections until JUST recently.
Again, latest Release, as of this writing and I am using a Win 7 PC.
Fiber Optics 100/50 connection.
But connections are REALLY bad... really!!
Thanks once again, in advance, for any help that you can lend. : ) -EB

Never done it before but if you download a copy of revo uninstall, use that to uninstall tixati and then install tixati it should do it.

You're definitely not the only one. I don't pretend to be an expert, but I've followed the optimization directions one by one, uninstalled and reinstalled, port forwarded, everything I've seen with multiple recommendations and still my seeding speed SUCKS. I'm lucky if my in: .07 KB/s and out: 0.09 KB/s. Sometimes the numbers are 0.0 and 0.00. DHT Online : 500+ nodes.
I'm using PIA on a broadband connection. Are you using a VPN? If I disconnect the VPN, the numbers increase significantly but who wants to take that kind of risk?
I have a 237,000K file that has been seeding for over 48 hours straight and it's only at .418%.
I'm not sure what else to try.
Also, Home says:
1:49:35 AM] UPNP mapped TCP port 34701 on gateway 10.39.10.5
[1:49:40 AM] NAT-PMP mapping UDP port 34701 on gateway 10.39.10.5 > socket error waiting for reply: Timed out (50434)
[1:50:38 AM] UPNP mapping UDP port 34701 on gateway 10.39.10.5 > error retrieving command details via HTTP: Timed out connecting (10060)
[1:50:38 AM] mapping UDP port 34701 on gateway 10.39.10.5 will be retried every 5 minutes
[1:56:30 AM] UPNP mapped UDP port 34701 on gateway 10.39.10.5
Or something similar with every port variation I've tried.

Alrighty then!! THANKS to ALL for suggestions.
I will try the file removal first. If that decides to "fail" then I will go for the total wipe and reinstall.
Not SURE that is going to help though... Now that I think about it. : (
Like stated above, I USE to have an EXCELLENT "connection ratio" where my connections were FABULOUS!! I WAS able to virtually connect to EVERYONE. I mean, it was RARE to have a "dropped" connection.
Now it is the inverse. COMPLETELY, 180 degrees from what it use to be. ...??? I have NO clue as to why this has happened.
Someone had written that there were "issues" with connections in the LAST release of Tixati. I was under the assumption that it was fixed with THIS release (latest as of this writing) but it SEEMS that it was not.
Unfortunately, Tixati is a TERRIBLE Torrent Client. I do not know WHAT the programmers "did" to it, but it has gone from the most AWESOME Client, to like, the WORST!!!
I WISH that I could say something different. : ) As I really DO think that this is one of the BEST Clients available. Period!! BUT, since this "hiccup" that they (or maybe it's just me??) have, it completely SUCKS!!! X P
Will wait for NEXT release and HOPEFULLY it will be taken care of, by then. Fingers crossed! If not, I will (gads!!) have to switch back to one of the others. X P
I am sincerely hoping that will not be the case. Eh??
Thanks once again, for ALL of the input on this... I am starting to think that I SHOULD have posted this with a different "Title." : P -Heh!- Cheers! : ) -EB
