Hello. I use Tixati (my client version is 2.48) and I installed previous version easily. But after I've downloaded new version (2.49) and I can't runt it. I receive this error message:

"The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect. Please see the application even log or use the command-line sxstrace.exe tool for more detail."

How can I fix this side-by-side error? What caused it?

what windows version are you running?

are you running 32 or 64 bit tixati?

if you try to install 2.48 what happens?

1. Windows 7 64-bit
2. Tixati 64-bit (v2.48)
3. As I said, previous installers work, but this new version does not work. Is this issue related to Visual C++ Redistributable runtime or .NET framework?

BUT afaik tixati doesn't use .config files in win7. Did you upgrade in the program? Download from the website?
Did you recently install other software or security programs??

Do what the website said, open that XML linked file, and add the beginning < character. See if that fixes it, lol Windows and XML files.
OT: So they're human-readable with binary data.
I vote for a new bencoded OS (bittorrent binary data), with G-F-S backup scheme for parity. So that you don't get a bootloop.
