RSS feeds added through web browser not recognised as RSS

by Guest on 2016/12/04 03:20:40 AM
When I click an RSS link through Firefox and select "open with Tixati" it shows up under the Transfers windows as feed:https://www.example.com/file.rss with the error message "specified path invalid".
When I manually add the RSS feed through Tixati with the same link it works correctly. Is it not possible to add these directly? It's only a minor inconvenience, just curious.

Transfers are .torrent downloads.
If you're having trouble with .torrent or magnet: links the "test RSS feed" button is what you need to ensure you're getting a valid RSS feed.

If the site you use for some reason links RSS to a .torrent download that sounds like a site error.
The only place to add a RSS feed is the RSS pane/window... not the transfer window. What version of tixati do you use? For ex: I use the new 2.49 Windows x64

I too have run across this repeatedly. You're not alone. Perhaps a feature request to have Tixati snatch these out of the air and put them where they belong is in order. JMHO

OK what are you clicking that it ... adds a feed to TRANSFER pane? Is it a rss.xml HTTP link?? is it a .torrent link to a RSS feed
The only error I have with path is related to adding a .torrent locally which was subsequently moved before the queue finished processing. (the share needs polling method for better working, in my cae)
