If this is the error: in the status column please include the error code (XX) . . .
"this file has been undone" doesn't sound like a Tixati error. Possibly an OS error? What os/version do you run?
Trying to troubleshoot... do you have default path folders set for download? Are they local or a remote share?
If you say all files... have you tried downloading a known file?
Also of note: Are you trying to OPEN in your browser, or save, then load in Tixati? Do you have load .torrent from folders set in Tixati?
:) Please provide more information then we can help further.

thank you for your reply the message i get is slightly different to that I stated the exact message i get is (Download Failed this Download has been undone) and there is no error code, the O/S i am using is Windows 10 Home Edition the defaul folder I use is Downloads. since having this problem my laptop is playing up and freezing so I guess you are correct in saying it could be a O/S problem but thanks very much for your response to my problem.

OK this helps. Is there more you can say about the procedure you go through in Tixati?
This is a dialog box that pops up? Or it is inside the window you are using to view the media file?
Unfortunately if this is a windows problem, I don't know what I can help after there since I don't have 10 :(

Better thing to do If you have the resources needed is to back-up the data you're interested in and format for a new OS installation. I know is very drastic but it's the best thing to do in the end as all problems software-related will vanish and you'll isolate an HW issue If there's one.

The procedure I go through is as follows.. I open up Torrent program and do my search, I then select the download in Torrent program and click on the download arrow after a short while the Tixati screen usualy opens I then click to start the download and everything usualy works fine but now what seems to happen is after selecting the download I require in Torrent program in stead of Tixati opening up for me to start the download I get a message stating the the Download failed this download has been broken, this message appears in a Tixati message box at the bottom right of my screen. I have since removed Tixati and Torrent program from my pc for now untill I can get to the bottom of the problems I am having.

OK so you have .torrent associated with Tixati right? You search the file then save the file??
If the error is the "error loading meta-file" which I have seen it means whatever logic you have for loading directory hasn't been followed with good directory practices. This happens to me when I have set a directory to load .TORRENT files in with/without deletion. When Tixati loads the file meta-data but then cannot find the file, it errors.
However if you load it as a magnet: and Tixati knows it has to bootstrap the meta-data it simply waits in QUEUE for that.
You may be trying to load magnet: links ?? I would suggest heading into the dsc: TUGger channel for direct correspondence with the extra program.
