This makes other files to be incomplete.
I have a torrent with 20 files, at some point i decide not to download some files and i deselect them. Later i delete them manualy and force recheck and i see 5 files with 99% progress!
Were those files incomplete all along? Please fix all of this. It would be also nice to have a menu option to get rid of all those deselected files in one click.

did you delete them outside of tixati?
if so, you deleted crust pieces, a piece that overlaps two files within a torrent.
thats why when you checked the file it was incomplete.
if you havnt emptied your trash you could restore the files, force check the files, and then delete them through tixati.
if the files are gone you will have to re-download those incomplete pieces.
next time be sure to delete files inside tixati.

In some transfers you may see "__padding file" 1, 2, 4, etc
These are files created in the torrent client when making a transfer so that you don't get the experience described above.
Your file may be 100%, but .torrent files don't care about "file" they only care about data. When you have more than 1 file in a .torrent there is a "first file" and so on. For the last part of the first file, it overlaps into "second file"... thus without the first file your second file, will show error at the beginning.
If you want to "selectively download" (that's the bar chart icon at the right side of your Transfer NAME column, where you normally see LOCK icon for private torrent), uncheck the green box in FILES tab before downloading.
Alternately you can right click -> Priority -> OFF
This will move the partial piece (since .torrents don't care about files, its the piece of data to complete the file) to your piece data directory.
This also has "crust file" mentioned above.
NOTE: For recheck any change to files will make 1 or 2 files fail hashcheck. This is especially true when "comments" or "tags" or "metadata" are stored in the file.. think media files.
This is also why you should be aware of what files tab of the transfer says before you download. desktop.ini thumbs.db DSdata.store are all files used by your OS and should have never been included in the first place.
