Don't know if it's fixed in this new version, or even if it's just an issue I'm having alone, but the weirdest thing keeps happening with files for me. A torrent says it's complete, then later on it will show as way less than 100% and suddenly pieces of files that I had before are now gone. I am very puzzled by this.
Will be keeping an eye out in this new version for the problem.
Mostly I just wanted to say, I love Tixati & think it's the best torrent client that ever existed. Thank you guys for developing it, and adding every feature under the sun, and more. Thank you for the lovely interface. Thank you for all the cool extras. Thanks for developing software the way it should be developed, in this day and age of Windows 10 (shudder) and other horrible atrocities that have been inflicted on the populace. It looks great, works great, it is great! You guys rock. :D

In the FILES tab (or the graphical representation of the bitfield)... is the black (incomplete) part of the files at the beginning/end of the files??
This is likely an external program changing your files.
Are they media? Does your media player add "tags" or modify the windows properties?? It's best to use a library program which holds metadata OUTSIDE your media files when trying to replicate using torrents.
As the file is 100% completed EACH piece (listed as XX pieces x YY KiB complete) is hashed, so it's not an error within Tixati.
I would agree with you about Tixati being such a great program and keeping things working after so long.

Sorry for such a delayed response. Anyway, it seems to happen more often with non-media torrents for some reason, otherwise I would suspect that as well. It's rather odd and seems to happen sporadically. Recently it happened with a package of apps.

Oh and also, most times it's missing the end, but sometimes it's other sections. I'm concerned about it possibly being a hdd issue if anything, but wanted to rule out 7ther possibilities first.

As far as HDD, is this an internal/external ? Is it SSD flash drive? If you run the proprietary SMART suite for your disk and it shows no errors you can pretty much rule it out. Barring logistics like too-hot or inadequate airflow. Or my cousin's problem where he would always assume the drive had moved because he saw it on the ground... It turns out determined pets can pull your cords better than those sticky rubber feet. Some more information would help.
(Unable to post links, but check a KNOWN torrent... try to replicate the problem)... If you turn on verbose lev-5 logging right before the issue i think the mods would be able to look at it for you. But you would need to have the actual manifest during logging otherwise we can suppose it's any of a number of things.
Still scratching my head thinking its something related to metadata. :)
