Request: Set single torrent as active

Years ago I used a different torrent client (cannot remember which) that had option to temporarily set a single torrent as active and stop all other torrents until it finished. It would then resume the previous state of all torrents, whether they were all active or some stopped. This was very useful when I wanted to quickly finish a torrent in limited available time.
A variation (and here is my request) would be to be able to choose more than one torrent, and set only these as active
and ordered
, completing them from first to last, after which the previous state of all torrents would resume.
Could this "Focused Torrents" feature be implemented in Tixati?

Have you tried Bandwidth Priorities? I use the Ultra High priority for that (right click a transfer > Bandwidth > Priority Groups > Ultra High). Of course you can elevate priority for multiple transfers, you can also use other priorities (Very High, High, Above Normal) in order to complete transfers from first to last. It is not exactly what you ask for but this method mostly works well enough. Bandwidth Priorities have an advantage over "single active torrent" as you described. In case this one torrent would halt or download very slowly, other transfers will fill your download bandwidth.

Thanks for the reply Pete. Yes, that is one way I currently already use to prioritise my different torrents, along with using ordered lists within multi-file torrents and also manual starting and stopping of torrents and individual files. I use these methods almost daily, meaning it sometimes gets quite tedious.
These methods all need much more user intervention than my proposed method, at least for what I want to accomplish. Also, using ordered lists on torrents (and not only files inside torrents) would not make much sense with most torrents, as slow torrents would negate the purpose. On the flip side, when downloading a few new, fast torrents with enough healthy seeds, the option to be able to set these torrents as ordered would in fact make sense and would be a welcome addition.
I'll continue going about it as usual, but if my request could be implemented it would make me a very happy camper indeed.

I've already done this request long time ago...

Pete mentions Bandwidth Priority... Adding this feature to QUEUE would (as most requests do) add another level complexity to the already computationally heavy function of the graphical operation.
Is there a way to view some sort of %-based function of Tixati usage... I think Help button DIAGNOSTICS would be where to look but I have no idea what I'm looking at. I know that the developers would know "optimal" or "ideal" use cases for the program, but if people can plug in their system with a diagnostic graph I think it would help others pinpoint problems (with incompatibilities)...
Or at least be a "definitive" way to show the average user (hey, yeah, you know when X happens, its due to Y just check this Z chart)... lol I guess I should have made a request for this one, lol

Original poster here...
Thanks for the input. However, I do not think it is quite in line with my request as it would not have to be a computational hog. The other program I used which had the version of the feature actually ran with minimum CPU usage. I think it was Deluge, but either way, it is definitely doable. It just comes sown to the developers to decide if, when and how they would implement it.
You do not seem to be a Tixati developer (based o the fact that you have a request yourself), and I'd rather have this thread at least stay topic.
