After updating to 2,47, every time I try to initiate a torrent I get a message that says "error flushing file while allocating: the request has failed due to a fatal device hardware error (483)

What OS are you using?

how are you loading the torrents? add button? double click torrent? magnet link? other?

do all torrents loaded give you this error?

Search for: https://www.google.com/search?q=fatal+device+hardware+error+(483)  says it is likely hardware... Hopefully nothing important is on the drive. Search for your specific model hard drive. Is it a WD?

Also to verify it was the version did you downgrade (2.48 is also out now)... If the PCB is bad then likely using the drive more has more likelihood to corrupt (more) data...
