Can't start after installing  2.47

by Neonstar on 2016/10/05 03:12:53 PM
Hi,

Previous upgrades all good. But after 2.47 it seems to have lost it's config. I've tried all ways, even from scratch, reinstalling, last okay config (not in this order!) but it keeps failing on config. When trying from a terminal I get an error message:
tixati: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdbus-1.so.3: no version information available (required by tixati)

Any ideas?

I have the same problem on Win 10 64 after updating to 2.47.  "Error loading config file" "Error code 3"  There is plenty of space on the HD.

I don't know about linux BUT in windows in your tixati directory, open a command prompt or use explorer...
"dir core*.dat" see how many and what kind they are.
You should have a .lastgoodload.dat .dat maybe .dat.new .dat.temp if it was backing up when it was ended.
The error means something messed up.
I would copy all your .dat temporarily. lastloadok.dat will be the last time you loaded, not closed Tixati unfortunately.
IF nothing else changed you should be able to just open the new EXE. How did you update. Did you use the built in upgrader. Did you use the installer, downloading yourself??
Do you have software which may be interfering? I have a rule setup for my Tixati I refresh each upgrade.

@neonstar -> are you sure you have a libdbus-1.so.3 file? and in the path its being looked for in?
