tixati port and port checker

by lightdemon on 2016/10/04 04:41:21 PM
Hello Everyone!

For a week now I'm doing some test with a private tracker, on the tracker site there is a service for check my incoming port but this service says that my door is closed, although the port is open and in the Windows firewall there is a rule for tixati. I tried to use others ports scan but they always says that the port isn't responding, so i tried to active UPNP but nothing to do...

Maybe doesn't tixati reply to a port scanner?

excuse me for my English and thanks to all for any help. :)

Obviously, if I enable only udp connection for incoming connection, no port scanner can send tcp packet to check the port.

Sorry for the unnecessary post :)

What does your Tixati show? and does your DHT work with the port forwarding?
Depending on your firewall's configuration it may block ICMP or whatever the singular site uses.
If you are able to see INCOMING connections (arrow down, I graphic in PEERS) there is no problem with your port.

Maybe UPNP is disabled in your router. Open ports should allways be detectable as open. You can use a website like canyouseeme.org to check. You can also use 3rd party software to check your routers UPNP settings
