I thought that there is supposed to be a pop-up that indicates a new release is available.  I didn't get one this time (2.45 release).  Not sure if there is an issue or I'm just thinking of something entirely or unless you just want everyone to check your home page often (ha ha ha).

Thanks for all the incredibly hard work.  I really don't think people truly understand the effort your team went in to this release.  7 test releases wow!  look at the list of fixes!

sometimes they wait a day before triggering that notification, just to make sure things are OK with the new version before triggering a tsunami of users upgrading

i think this 2.45 just came out a few hours ago..

this new version is humming along real nice for me...
