I have been using Tixati v2.31 without any problem but for last few days I get error "file error: Unable to open file: Access is denied. (5)" with each and every torrent file I try to download. Could you please help me out? I have Windows 7 Ultimate OS on my Dell computer.

sounds like the files are locked by another program.

are you running anti-virus, backup utility program, or something like that?

those programs can hold a lock on files.

got the same message today and solved it !

i found that all files were READ ONLY
select all files
right-click et select properties
then uncheck "Read only" in checked

I had the same problem.
Checked to see if the files were read only, permissions were all good, everything was good,
but it still refused to download.
Only solution I was able to find was removing all the torrents that wouldn't download and then adding them back again.

Apparently after a few moments it went back to doing it again.

yes delete and reload torrent.
