My Tixati transfer Window is empty what settings are needed

by loninappleton on 2016/08/13 10:26:32 PM
I have tix on two machines, one is rarely used for torrents.

Just lately I started up the version that was on there and got an empty
transfer window.

I traced that error to a save location which is on my homenet public users folder.
Would that make the error?

Following that I got the newest stable Tix and installed that with the new folder
made for C:

The error still persists.

How can I troubleshoot this?

Is perhaps an old setting being saved from the
older install?  I restarted and double checked the new location and started a new transfer not a duplicate.  Still nothing in the transfer window.

Devs  may know how to fix what is my error in understanding settings.

One problem on the day seems solved.  I had a bunch of various sorts.

A clean install of the new 2.43 Tixati is now registering a sample torrent in the transfers window.

I cannot say where the bad setting was.  But I followed the
suggested opening dialog and put the folder for Tix

in Transfers >  Locations > Default Download (location)

and

Transfers > Locations > Upon Completion move to this location

My suggestion to new users is make an identifiable folder
in the root of C: rather than the opening dialog default called  "downloads"  Yourtixati for example and keep everything in it.
