'Priority-Off' file prevents resuming "file size mismatch"

by Guest on 2016/08/11 05:59:58 AM
Despite not needing to touch the file, because there is one, Tixati will report a mismatch and prevent the download/seed.

Is there a fix for this or is this intended behavior?

what version of tixati and what OS?

please explain more.

are you saying you have a multi file torrent and at first are only starting some files, but later when you go to start others you get this 'file size mismatch'?

where do you see this error? is it on files that were added originally or later?

what is the status of the torrent when you are turning on more files? download, seeding?

Tixati v2.43, 64-bit win10.

Yes multi-file torrents. For example there will be a text file that exists within the directory with the same name as one in the torrent, but it will be different, so it will report a "file size mismatch" or "file too large". Which makes sense. However, the respective file in the torrent is set to 'Download - X/Priority - Off', which I expect to behave differently (ignore the file). Like it would if there was no file by that name in the directory at all.

The torrent shouldn't need to touch that file to continue to function, if it is set to 'Off'.
