Error Moving: existing destination file too large

by Guest on 2016/08/11 03:12:26 AM
Hi,
I have a very odd problem.  When downloading content that has a nfo file I always get the above error.

I have a
Windows 7 x64 virtual pc and the latest x64 version of tixati 2.43.

I download to the pc and then move to a nas.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

when does the error occur and where do you see it?

when does it happen? when the whole torrent completes, when the file completes, when the nfo completes? when the torrent moves?

do you have 'move on complete' set?

when you move the torrent, are you sure the new folder does not already have a similarly named file that is causing this problem?

Thank you for your reply.

The error happens when the torrent completes and the move starts.
I have the move on complete set.
I do not have duplicate files.

Are these files over 4 GB? Is the move to an external disc? If yes too those then likely you need to format the disc correctly it will likely be FAT but needs to be NTFS. None the less you need to supply way more info for better guesses.

Thank you for your reply and I apologize for the lack of info.

When I download a torrent it usually has a few files in it.
For example,
A movie file (Could be movie, tv, music), (could be avi, mkv, mpeg)
an nfo file (sometimes I remove the check mark because I don't want that file but I still get the error anyway)
maybe subs file
and sometimes a txt file.

I download all torrents to a local hard drive and have set it to move upon completion to a nas. (A synology ds1815 48TB)

All the files move properly EXCEPT the nfo files.  (Even if I un ticked the file so it not suppose to download I still get this error)

The movie file size is usually between 700mb and 20GB (No problem here)
The nfo file is usually between 10k and 1mb (Very small).

It's very odd.

Thank you again for any suggestion.
