Set a number in Standby greater than the number of torrents

by loninappleton on 2016/07/08 06:25:05 AM
All these questions must come into play when a limit is hit
and the setup has to resolve it.

I am getting torrents in Standby I think because of the
number of upload slots in Settings.

With a projected (not actual number)  of total torrents of
say 400 and a current total of +/-  299 currently,
what is a good setting to keep in upload slots?

An old thread from 2013 says there's a limit of 200.

What's the straight of all this speculation?

Thread is here:

Yes it's because of the number of uploads slots in settings.

I used to let Tixati handle upload slots automatically, and I started to get complains from leechers (waaaaaaaa seed!!! waaaaaaa!!!). Now I just set it to manual and a high upload slots number, no complains so far lol.

An unlimited option would be nice, instead of having to input 999 lol.

If there was a global max upload slots per torrent limit, you could set max seeding torrents higher so long as they're mostly inactive and it'd work well without going nutty if lots of seeding torrents gained hungry peers all at once.

Thanks for replies.

Yes I set a higher than seed number and have not seen any standbys.
