I've noticed in the past every time I've connected to a torrent my IP has been clearly shown in the Peers list, I checked a few times with an IP magnet service and it was clearly showing that my proxy was working.

After doing some testing, my friends and I have been able to see each others real IP without fail, even with the SOCKS5 proxy enabled.

Is there some magic settings I should know of?

Did you read the read the big warning below the Proxy settings? Is DHT Off, are you set to use TCP connections only?
