The only thing available regarding cache is "Read Peer Caching". Is there any plan to add "Write cache" with 4/8/16/... and yet better customized values?

Been using Tixati for years... Starting with 2.37 the Tixati crashed with Core.dat file. With 2.38 it again happened (although it was stated that this problem got fixed in 2.38).
Checked the HD and and to my surprise found that it had problems (Bad sectors), so I tried to make a clone of that HD on a new HD.
I always took it for granted that Tixati had a much better cache settings than sheer "Read Peer Caching". I'm now more worried about disk usage issues.
Any reply would be much appreciated
