2.35 Alpha single remaining file?

by Guest on 2016/04/21 09:26:57 PM
With 2.35 alpha and the "auto select files in new transfers" option enabled all my files are being dumped into the root of my completed files folder
This is in the log of each transfer "moving single remaining file into outer download folder after auto-select"
Is there a way to turn this off as it's really annoying for torrents that have a descriptive folder name but a main file like file1.mpg

A work around for anyone else who can't find out how to turn this off is to right click on the file in the lower pane, and select locaion->reset to default

Thanks

go to settings-transfers-files. there you can turn it off.

There is no checkbox on that page to turn off the moving of single files to the root of the completed files folder
There is a checkbox to turn off auto select, but I actually want that on

so you want those two operations (turn off small files and move remaining file to outer download) as separate options.

that cant be done right now, as far as i know. good suggestion.

Yes, that's exactly what I want

Actually the current behavior is even odder
With auto select on, if you tick a small file (that was automatically unticked) when a torrent is added
The main file that was automatically ticked -> goes to completed files root dir
The small file -> goes into the correct subdirectory

I don't think that's what anyone would expect at all ;-)
