The above mentioned solutions work fine for me when I click on the magnet link.  However on this one website I use, it does not have a domain name and only an IP address.

Is it because it's a IP address?  All the other sites I use have domain names and work fine.

Yes, utorrent, what a heap of crap.  Tixati is by far the best.  As for VPNS,  well I'm not trading in state secrets so I just use SOCKS5 or 4.  Bit painful sometimes using free proxy servers but it works and no junk on my PC.  Has anyone considered that if you use a VPN there is a direct legal link to you.  Whereas there are any number of plausible explanations without one.  Honey trap anyone?
