i just wanna make a torrent and share it
First, thank you for wanting to share, for taking the time to create and seed new torrents.

I went to Add then selected the file i wanna share then it was added to my download list. i yet to add trackers. but i read not to include the .db file what is that. http://forum.tixati.com/support/235
The link you provided gives the basics.

The thumbs.db file (usually a 'hidden' file) is created by windows and modified by it. It is not part of the torrent content as it is for use only on your computer when it displays the files and folders as thumbnail images with Windows Explorer. If included in the torrent and later is changed by Windows, then the torrent will be broken and never be able to seed 100%. However, I don't think you need be concerned about this as Tixati ignores that file and does not include it with the normal content files when you Add a folder to create a torrent.

Begin here:  http://support.tixati.com/add%20new%20transfer

1] Transfers/+Add/Create New Seed
2] Select EITHER a file OR a folder to make the torrent from. If a folder, make a new folder just for this torrent beforehand and copy to it the files you want to included in your new torrent.
3] Do NOT set the Private flag. That 'feature' is for those that do not want their torrent to be openly shared. It prevents others from finding the torrent over DHT
4] Leave the Piece Size as Tixati automatically sets it based on its analysis of the content file size.
5] Click the Create button
6] Add some open trackers, especially those which do not require uploading the .torrent file to work.
7] Select the new torrent from your Transfers list, right click then /Share/Save .torrent to write the .torrent metadata file to disk.
8] upload that .torrent file to your favorite trackers

im curious to how it works, im a network engineer so i like this stuff.

beside people seeing my IP is there any other security risks when making a torrent.
Your IP is not revealed in the process of "MAKING a torrent". But it can be seen when seeding or downloading it. What risks if any would relate to the files you included in the torrent and whether or not the state that claims authority over you has adopted anti-social policies on sharing information/media.
