[Windows] - Allow system to suspend defaulting to OFF

by Guest on 2016/03/02 06:56:55 AM
After every reboot the setting "allow system to suspend" returns to OFF, is this by design? Is very annoying having to manually change the setting every time to allow the system to follow the PC power settings.

I also would like that auto shutdown settings would stick after Tixati restart/system reboot. Is really annoying to have to set it manually again. The other day I forgot to do it (allow system suspend after all downloads complete), then PC had stayed awake all day after a 10min download!

+1... just reposted my original request regarding this.  Would like this fixed.  Kinda annoying.

Any news on this? Are the team aware of this bug? It's sucks to always have to re-set shutdown settings manually.

Still not fixed nor even an option avaiable to keep auto-shutdown settings upon a new start.

This is about Tixati retaining the user's settings. Maybe it works for you as it is, but what about people that do not want their computers on 24/7. They should have a choice on how their system behaves, most clients do this well, is rather unusual for a program that provides a high level of personalization to be doing this.

No, it shouldn't. If you want your pc to stay up, just leave auto shutdown settings alone! (OFF)

Better would be - Keep auto-shutdown settings after restart=yes/no
Good for everybody, I think.

Bump.

Any word about having this fixed?  I'm fine with Off being the default, but I'm selecting "allow suspend" and it should remember this even after a system reboot (software update, windows update, etc).  Thanks!

V2.42 ... still not fixed. I doubt this is a hard feature to implement ... Guess we're not the squeaky wheel yet.

YAY!  Thanks for adding the "Persist After Restart" option.  Working great!

They must have taken the off again because I have to set it up manually on version 2.75

Still doesn't work right. Doesn't remember the "Close Tixati" when restarted.
