when do you see this? when downloading or installing?

did you download it from tixati website?

did you download it with the edge browser?

try downloading it with a different browser like firefox.

1) check control sums of what you downloading
2) download tixati setup with wget, not with web browser
3) repair your system32/catroot and system32/catroot2 directories (windows certificate store)

try using firefox and not windows browser.

as i already tell you in 3)

update your root certificate from
(modnote: url removed)

that'll fix it

(modnote: url removed)

so, win10 is shipped without "startcom certificate autohority", so next in chain "startcom class 2 primary intermediate object ca" become untrusted.

win10 sucks.

why you remove links? they go directly to microsoft owned website windowsupdate.

anyone can extract "rootsupd.exe" as cab archive

inside there is

updroots.sst383 41919.04.2013 17:43

with several dozens of certs, among which

CN = StartCom Certification Authority
OU = Secure Digital Certificate Signing
O = StartCom Ltd.
C = IL
valid from  17 09 2006 19:46:36 to 17 09 2036 19:46:36

with 4096 bit public key
30 82 02 0a 02 82 02 01 00 c1 88 ......... 52 4b 02 03 01 00 01

which when added to trusted root certificate store, show authency of startcom's code signing certificate, which shows authency of tixati's own certificate, which is used to sign an installer file.

anyone using windowsupdate gets them automatically, but it seems that either microsoft failed to deliver proper quality product, or users disabled "windows update" just not to get windows 10 (which is "recommended update" now btw)
