To keep it simple...........you can just stop/exit Tixati.
Go to the default download folder, probably in Downloads, then move it to your desktop or wherever.
Right click on it and open it with whatever application you require,
be it a "media player" that you have installed, or another application that is needed for opening it (RAR or 7Zip) etc.
VLC is a good, sorry, the best media player for video.
If it's software, run your AV to check for malware etc.
Keeping it simpler yet.. do NOT stop or exit Tixati. And don't move the files. That will prevent you from continuing to share and seed it.
In Tixati, simply right click on the torrent you downloaded...click "Local Files" then "Open Folder" and play your video from there your usual way. VLC is a good media player as stated.
